6.1 Gender equality
BJ-BABS is committed to gender equality in the peer review process and in the composition of our editorial board. We encourage the nomination and appointment of women and members of other underrepresented groups to editorial roles, and we strive to ensure gender balance in the peer review process.
6.2 Underrepresented groups in academia
We are committed to promoting diversity in academic publishing. This includes actively encouraging submissions from authors, and applications for editorial positions, from underrepresented groups in academia. We also encourage research that addresses issues related to diversity, such as studies that focus on minority groups, low-income populations, and other underserved communities.

BJ-BABS is dedicated to creating an inclusive and respectful environment that values the diversity of our authors, reviewers, editors, and readers. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior in any form.
